I'm not really expert in this area, and if someone knowledgeable replies please ignore this answer. My guess would be that the SCSI driver is not found in time. But can you run the machine from the first CD, in rescue mode? If so, I would probably try compiling a vanilla kernel with the appropriate SCSI driver in the kernel (ie not a module). Or maybe you could run mkinitrd to make an initrd with the driver included. I think before trying any of this I would see if Knoppix runs on the machine. My philosophy is that if Knoppix runs then Fedora should run sooner or later.
