Hi all,

sometime ACPI stop working.
I seen that because klaptop is not able to recognize battery.

I tried to understand why, and I can tell that:

1. When it stop working, even after some reboot it continue not working.
I'm not been able to restart it.
Also monitoring the /proc filesystem for ACPI/battery ... doesn't help.
Nothing about ACPI is working

2. Even if I reboot it continue not working

3. If I reboot with 2.6.19-1.2869 ACPI start working well, and if i
immediatly reboot with 2.6.19-1.2895 it continue working.

4. It work for days without any problem, and after... it stop working
too.

I'm using Fedora Core 6 on an Aspire 5000 with fedora 64 bit on AMB
Turion.

Someone else can experience this behaviour?

Bye
 Ambrogio
