While technically the person wanting off the list should do it via the
link that's put at the bottom of every posting, we all know people who
either won't or are incapable of reading and following instructions.

One of the jobs of the sysop is to watch for this kind of drivel and
purge the miscreant.  I know--I'm an assistant sysop on the old
redhat-install-list.  I would be happy to take on the job here as well,
but I should warn the "powers-that-be" that my free time isn't quite as
plentiful as it once was.  If the "PTB" want my services, contact me
off-list.
