Ipsec vs SSL

Hi, folks,
I am curious what this group thinks. There is an organization I
subscribe to called Tech Republic, and they are preparing to have a
Webcast:

One of the blurbs is:
Overview: Many companies are choosing SSL VPNs over IPSec-based systems
because there's no client software to install and because they offer
more granular access to enterprise applications. But with so many
options to choose from, how can you tell which SSL VPN is right for your
organization?

My personal experience tells me that IPSec is more secure than SSL, but
I am wondering what the rest of you might have as your experiences?

Regards,
Les H
