I'm trying to get the knod-nvidia package from livna for the .2888 kernel and it's dragging in the .2869 kernel from updates. That might be a plus since things have gone to heck in a handbasket with 2888 and 2895 it seems to me. We'll see. I had xine working just fine, watched LOA for a bit, selected another music video and it crapped out, even after rm'ing the .xine folder again. The file works just peachy with mplayer. I thought I had it beat. Someone just kill me now as this is maddening. Maybe I should just get some sandals, a pedicure and buy a frappin' Mac. Nah... I detest Jobs too much, along with Gates.
