Could well be.  I can't find anything at all about opening ports to support 
the video - and I can't believe that it's unnecessary.  The only thing I can 
find is that you need to open 6891 TCP for file transfer - and that's already 
open because it's part of the range amsn needs.  Time for a point-blank 
question on kde-users list.  I'll report back if I get anything useful.
