Same here. Hardware is an IBM T23 Notebook, have already updated to the latest
BIOS provided by IBM because thought it might be ACPI related problems. However
the machine keeps locking up again. (It did fix some acpi related errors in
syslog, however).

These lockups occur since I updated the notebook to FC6, it has been running 
various FC Versions without problems. It's really nasty, because the logs give
absolutely no hints for any problems when the lockups occur.

However I doubt that this is directly related to firefox - maybe it's 
Network traffic in general? I will try what happens if I surf using konqueror 
for a while.
