How much video memory do you have?  Sounds like you are running out of
texture memory.

Yes, that's the bug.

I am experiencing the same problem. It is a royal pain as it is on my laptop. I can't replace the video card without replacing the whole machine. (It is an HP zv5200z AMD64 3700+ with an nVIDIA 440go video chipset with 64megs of ram (split 32 dedicated and 32 shared, which sucks).)
