I use an older version of HP notebook, HP NC6220.
Comes with Intel chipset, Intel video card and Intel wireless network card.
All works out of the box except for the wireless. I have to download and install ipw2200 from rpm.livna.org, then everything works fine (_including_ wireless)

Hi,

I am going to acquire a new notebook.
It should have adquate battery power. No high-end video card is needed,
I think Intel 9xx should be enough. Other than that, some features such
as card reader would be nice.

I have a choice among the following brands:
Acer
Asus
HP
Toshiba
Fujitsu
Is there any model that is particularly suited for FC6?
