I am having the same exact problem as Charles described. Sadly, unlike him, I am not that much of an expert, and not sure that I have the time on my hand to fix this but futzing around with custom kernels. This really sucks as it means doing everything from CLI. (please spare me the sarcasm, I did build my server anyway, but would like to have the option of using GUI as well) Is there a way to insert another video card into the Poweredge and have it work that way? curious if this could be a fix for now, but not sure on how to get BIOS to detect it. Thanks for emailing me any updates or suggestions on this. sg_57 AT hotmail DOT com Fedora Core 6 on Dell Poweredge 700 Single CPU kernel: 2.6-18.1.2849.fc6 Video: ATI Rage XL -- This is an email sent via The Fedora Community Portal https://fcp.surfsite.org https://fcp.surfsite.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?post_id=135710&topic_id=29178&forum=10#forumpost135710 If you think, this is spam, please report this to webmaster@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and/or blame sg_57@xxxxxxxxxxxx -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
