Hi, I tryed to sync files with rsync But i seem not to get the parameters correct I tryed something like this: rsync -av download.fedora.redhat.com:/pub/fedora/linux/core/6/i386/os /home/erik/test I get a connection and my modem is not communicating any more After a few minutes -i think- the connection is broken by the host. Can you tell me what i'm doing wrong I want to sync my computer automatically, so i want to make a cron-job of it. I tryed with USER@host (in anonymous@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/...) for the host and a -password-file. But this seems not to work (i get looking for a directory /home/erik/anonymous@xxxxxxxx) My best gues is that i dont get a connection because, i have to login... or ...
