I am sure that mms stuff and totem have been discussed before but can't seem to find anything in the archives that specifically concerns my interest. I wish there was a way to search the fedora archives so it would be easier to find what you are looking for?? (Is there a way??). Now my question is this: otem could not play 'mms://wmscnn.stream.aol.com.edgestreams.net/cnn/world/2006/12/07/eccleston.uk.spy.funeral.affl.ws.wmv'. Has anyone been successful with FC6 to be able to view the video streams found on CNN. I used to be able to do it with FC5 and can still now do it with Slackware 11, but I have no idea how to get it to work on FC6. If anyone has been successful I would certainly appreciate knowing how to do it. So far I have adjusted my Yum to use the Livna resources and have updated my system with Livna in place. And that went well. And than I specifically added all the I could think of that related to video, including Kaffeine and of course xine. But no luck. I have even tried installing from a tar file the adobe_flash and that doesn't help. What is the clue to getting totem to see the mms files?? -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
