Hello.
For several months, I've used a burn-everything external USB CD/DVD
drive. It works on Windows 2000. It worked on SUSE 10.0 and FC 5 (both
of which were on at least 2 computers).
But it refuses to work on FC 6 (on at least 2 computers). I upgraded 5
==> 6 by re-formatting.
Everything works just like it did on FC5, and on SUSE. But, after I
click 'Write' in the config window (where you select the drive), the
'Writing to disk' window opens - and the program seems to lock up. The
main clue is that it's not updated (redrawn) after the config window closes.
The 'writing' window just sits there (without any characters). I let it
go for a few minutes - nothing. Had to 'force quit'.
So, what's wrong?
Btw, yes, I'm sure that the drive still works (used it on my Windows box
since I tried it on FC6).
