On a T43, you may be able to get this by pressing F12, if the BIOS is set to allow it.

But, you can also upgrade using yum:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/YumUpgradeFaq

Basically:
- yum update yum
- yum clean all
- rpm -Uvh (the proper fedora-release package)
- yum upgrade

I successfully upgraded FC4 to FC6 using this method.

the system usually gives you a possibility to chose a boot device if you press the right key. look for the "Press DELETE to enter setup/BIOS" or somethig similar output. alongside you could find sth like "Press F10 to choose boot device". again, this isn't the exact outpu you might get it is only an aproximation of what to look for!
