ClearCase is dependent on the version of the kernel being used.
IBM/Rational has information at their website indicating which OS/Kernel
they support. Later versions of RHEL and SLES are on that list. I have
never seen Fedora listed there.

If you try the install it might work but there is no guarantee and I
believe for later versions of ClearCase the install script actually
verifies the OS before continuing. I have "investigated" the install
script and it might be possible to force the install with a little
judicious coding but IBM will not support you and I would give you
exceedingly good odds that at least dynamic views will not work and you
may have issues with the graphics.
Bottom line is that you can check with IBM but I wouldn't hold your
breath. I wouldn't spend too much company time on this. If it is a
personal quest then enjoy. :-)
