I have notice that also, I normally reboot computer and then it works.
In Kde Control Center>Sound Mulitimedia>Sound System>Hardware check the box
fo FullDuplex.
Checking FullDuplexthat didn't seem to help for me. The first call works
whether or not I have FullDuplex checked. The second call doesn't work
in either case.
