VSFTPD Config Help Needed

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all,

Could someone with some vsftpd knowledge please give me some help on
the following scenario.

I want my vsftps server to have the following config but am not sure
how to set it up.

ftphome the only allowed user.
I want ftphome to be able to access /server/upload & /server/download
but not /server/music (chroot?)
I would like to be able to upload files as ftphome and the not be able
to see them after wards but root or paul can.

I gave a try to set ths up and created the log on ftphome.
I then made a link to the upload and download folder from my /home/ftphome
This allows me to cd into the directories but as expected I can cd ../
back into /server

Please can someone help me or give me a really good ftp guide.

thanks

Paul
