-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello there, sorry if this has been asked/answered before, however I have asked the wondrous person known as Google, and he has given me no relevant information, in the nicest way he could of course... Moving on the the question. I'm using Fedora Core 6, but have had this issue with Fedora 5 also. When I open up Search (beagle-search), and type in my search query, I get greeted with a nice message saying "Search service not running" with a button (Start Service). However, looking at my session, it shows that in my startup programs I have both: * beagled --debug /usr/lib/beagle/BeagleDaemon.exe --bg * beagled --autostarted I would like a way for me to bypass this "search service not running issue" by making the beagle service start when my user logs in, which is what I thought the entries in my session were for. Please can someone help me David White -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFac4KTUfS6vXehpgRAoMFAKCcRGpB8jn0PXJ3Ej01JUUbGCGe9wCdEJr+ kKOntVaoA7llsBo9BrGidyk= =XYSD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
