Or do you recommend DSL? Well, what surprised me was the amount of stuff that the install dnloaded off of the net instead of from the CD's. I have 5 CDs and it only used 3 of 'em. The rest of the install was over DSL... God only knows what Ubuntu is bragging about, with one CD. You can only get so much on one and that ain't much. Tubes! Everyone is clogging up the tubes! This is WAY off topic, but I gotta share this tidbit. Remember that Senator raising hell about the Tubes? I got this picture in my head of how it actually went down. Picture "Pointy Hair Boss"(the Senator) who is raising cain at his IT guy because some email arrived late. Rather than admit that he probably screwed up, he pointed to the Senator's WinXP screensaver with all the pipes, and told him that was a live picture of the Internet congestion that prevented his email from being delivered on time. TUBES! So, the Senator goes before Congress and rants about the Tubes, while the IT guy worked feverishly on his resume, laughing his ass off. I'd bet the farm that is how it went down! It certainly fits. Ric -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
