Think of the "Administration" menu item as yast then :-).

Actually, yast annoys me (though it probably isn't yast itself,
but the things suse just does different on the admin side - I can
never figure out how to get some things fixed without running
yast - which is a pain when it would be simpler to just edit
some file via a simple ssh session - I'm just not familiar with
all the right files on suse :-).
Your right Tom, But these Linux newbies aren't you and I , that
live-breathe-smoke the the CLI.

Have they seen kde control center, with all the plugins installed? I would have thought that they could do everything they need from there.
