Let me guess,  are you attempting to install flash 7?  There is a
conflict with selinux that wreaks havoc with the installer.  May I
suggest that you instead download the brand-spanking new Linux Flash 9-B
from:

http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer9.html

instead.  It should be a much better fit for you!
