That's great news. So yes, it's all Apache-licensed now. I looked at how they did it in the CVS. Apparently, using the neural network stuff was always optional, so they just killed that feature. Maybe some day it will get redone using a Free library. But it appears not to be (or have been) an essential part of the OCR code.
