If Ubuntu will provide closed-source drivers on the CD, but Fedora won't -- is Fedora simply a distribution for Free Software zealots, or does the lack of open source drivers effect a lot of people? If someone throws themselves from the top of a 50 story building, will we throw ourselves from that floor as well? It does not matter, because users will do what they need to get their systems like they want them. This is the beauty of open source. If the users feel threathened in some way, they will opt out of Fedora and go to another distribution, maybe the one mentioned here. It is a fact of life and whatever moves they make up there, will alter the user base.
