Is there a replacement for gnofin, preferably available
via yum or in rpm form for FC6.
It's a simple program for balancing a check book,
gnucash is overkill for that task and every time I
reinstall Fedora I have a mess of dependencies to deal
with to get gnofin installed. It does not appear to be
available via yum. Certainly that can't be the only
application of it's kind, can it?
Thanks.

Unfortunately it looks like a dead project, last updated in 2000.
It's really unlikely to compile against Gnome these days :-(
*Well it runs on this FC5 box but I'm about to
install FC6 and it's such a hassle to collect all
the files it wants I was hoping there was an
alternative. It is one of the useful things a home
computer will do!

Gnofin does run on FC6. gnofin-0.8.4-1.i386.rpm wanted gnome-libs and
libxml.i386, both provided by yum.
I tried other applications, none were satisfactory. Gnofin is a simple
checkbook program that works well for me.
