I tried it for nVidia 3200+ and it seems to make no difference at all...
950 FPS mostly, in glxgears. <sigh> Ric

glxgears is an exceptionally poor benchmark, as its results are
impacted by numerous factors unrelated to the graphics card or X
driver that you're using.
