If you have an ATI or NVIDIA graphics card, you will need the properity drivers. even then, not all work. See http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/RenderingProject/aiglx for details. For inbuilt intel stuff I gather the inbuilt driver handles 3D out the box, but I don't have one so cannot be sure. If you do need to install the binary nivida or ati drivers, both are available from livna http://rpm.livna.org/rlowiki/UsingLivna I use nvidia, and if you do also let me strongly recommend the livna route instead of the "default" or "official" nvidia binary installer. It will save you problems in the long run... (search this list for details). I have never used ATI but I gather there are also drivers. for nvidia, you can install the driver with > yun install kmod-nvidia or ati with (I think) > yum install kmod-fglrx for either you will need at minimum Section "Extensions" Option "Composite" "Enable" EndSection in your xorg.conf file. Maybe something else, I'm not sure...
