I've installed a recent Adobe PDF reader, AdobeReader_enu-7.0.8-1, from the Adobe site. After recommended minor tweaks, it runs OK. However, the plugin nppdf.so, which I've installed as: /usr/lib/firefox-1.5.0.8/plugins/nppdf.so isn't recognized by firefox. It doesn't show up on about:plugins, nor does it work.
