I'm not sure that I understand. There are a zillion older open-source
packages that are no longer downward (or would it be upward??)
compatible, and I thought that was the whole idea of linux... that if
someone stopped maintaining your system / business software that with
your own source-code you could just keep it rolling with a re-compile.
Well, it just got a lot more difficult and for what? Why break things??
Is dumping config.h worth the grief?? Start another sux sux sux thread??

Can you use the 8776 kernel with FC6?? That one has config.h still?
