init 3 will put you in
multi-user non-graphical mode. init 5 will get you back into graphics
mode again. Runlevel 1 is single user no network. If you want to
make runlevel 3 your default, edit /etc/inittab and set the default
there.

Subject: FC6 kill X Window
Hi all,
How can I kill X Window? Ctl+Alt+BackSpace
results in logout and login in graphic. mode. Or how can I change the run
level from 5 to 1?
thanx
