Well the lines above did not work for me. The snd-emul0k1 did not load.
I had to use modprobe snd-emul0k1 to load it.
Volume control and alsamixer both work. The sound cad is recognized but
no sound.
When I try to play a CD the program opens and recognizes the CD (it
displays the first song title on the CD). But the program does not run
further. It just sits there and nothing happens.
Any ideas about this?
