I found and fixed the mydomain that had been causing the first question and I
no longer get the boxname added to the address, but logwatch still gives some
errors, such as

 E477968466: to=<anne@xxxxxxxxxxx>, orig_to=<anne>,
relay=borg.lydgate.lan[192.168.0.30]:25, delay=3.1,
delays=2.8/0.03/0.18/0.04, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 Ok: queued as
28E00DEF2A)

Following this through in maillog:

Nov  7 21:45:05 borg postfix/smtpd[25995]: 28E00DEF2A:
client=david.lydgate.lan[192.168.0.70]
Nov  7 21:45:05 borg postfix/cleanup[25998]: 28E00DEF2A:
message-id=<20061107214504.E477968466@d
Nov  7 21:45:05 borg postfix/qmgr[2279]: 28E00DEF2A: from=<anne@xxxxxxxxxxx>,
size=943, nrcpt=1
Nov  7 21:45:05 borg postfix/smtpd[25995]: disconnect from
david.lydgate.lan[192.168.0.70]
Nov  7 21:45:05 borg postfix/local[25999]: 28E00DEF2A: to=<anne@xxxxxxxxxxx>,
relay=local, delay
Nov  7 21:45:05 borg postfix/qmgr[2279]: 28E00DEF2A: removed

Can someone tell me exactly what is happening here? As far as I can see I am
not losing any messages, but....

Anne
