The Philips uses pwc. It gets a picture, but not a usable one.

Maybe my brain has given up under the strain.

[anne@david gspcav1-20060925]$ make
make -C /lib/modules/`uname -r`/build
SUBDIRS=/home/anne/Downloads/gspcav1-20060925 CC=cc modules
make: *** /lib/modules/2.6.18-1.2798.fc6/build: No such file or directory.
Stop.
make: *** [default] Error 2

I wondered if it was a permissions problem
on /lib/modules/2.6.18-1.2798.fc6/build, but it isn't as simple as that,
apparently.

ls -al /lib/modules/2.6.18-1.2798.fc6/build
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 47 Nov  1
12:15 /lib/modules/2.6.18-1.2798.fc6/build -> ../../../usr/src/kernels/2.6.18-1.2798.fc6-i586

This shows the link flashing red, which I presume spells trouble. The only
guess left to me is that I'm missing kernel headers, or some such. What
would the package be called?

Anne
