In the thread "mount doesn't mount on boot-up" we have found a
problem with the way my SATA drives are being ID'd, as seen below.
# cat /proc/scsi/scsi
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: ATA Model: ST3160023AS Rev: 3.05
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 05
Host: scsi1 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: ATA Model: ST3300622AS Rev: 3.AA
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 05
Host: scsi1 Channel: 00 Id: 01 Lun: 00
Vendor: ATA Model: WDC WD5000YS-01M Rev: 07.0
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 05
The first two entries appear to have the same Channel/Id/Lun -
They are on different controllers, scsi0 and scsi1. Each controller has its own
channels, ids and LUNs.
