I think the immediate reason for printing it has come out of depmod being run 
after the nVidia kernel module being installed, and depmod wants a look at 
all the modules to make a database of them.  But the module is broken before 
this it seems.

However I don't have a snd-wavefront.ko in my kernel, have you recompiled alsa 
or installed any other kernel modules from elsewhere?
