Trying to install RDESKTOP both 1.5.0 and 1.4.0 on Fedora Core 5.

Hitting some problems can anyone help....

[root@localhost rdesktop-1.4.1]# ./configure
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cl... no
configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH

It says all you need to know right there...you don't have a C compiler installed. Seems like you just want the binary anyway...so no need to mess with /configure and friends.

rdesktop 1.4 is available in binary (rpm) form for FC5:

#yum install rdesktop

And if you do really want the source, and not the binary built from that source, it's available too. Check your favorite mirror's 'source' directory, it will have the srpms.
