I have a triple boot system: Fedora, Gentoo and Win2k. How do I find out the filesystem which the Gentoo installation employs? If Gentoo's using ext3, then I'd add the following line to the /etc/fstabfile? /dev/hdb3 /mnt/gentoo ext3 users,owner,rw,umask=000 0 0 ? Can I probe hdb3 to find out the filesystem? I think it's ext3, but don't recall.
