That's not it.  Google didn't verify your username.  It sure looks like
they're automatically adding the "@gmail.com" bit, so you're getting
a double domain.  Try changing fetchmail's username to JUST "bchiodini"
and see if that works.

You can substitute googlemail for gmail in your send-receive setups when
gmail goes bananas on you. (pop.googlemail.com and
smtp.googlemail.com:465) That worked for me. No more problems. Ric

I tried without the "@gmail.com", no luck.

It did start working at Fri 29 Sep 2006 06:17:53 PM EDT.  No explanation.
