I need a bit of help.

I building a Fedora Core 5 box for educational reasons (PostgreSQL and Apache) and wish to install several old IDE drives in it using a Highpoint RocketRAID 454 card I own.

The drivers they have on-line for Linux doesn't support the new kernel. The sources are available on their www site for building the driver (http://www.highpoint-tech.com/BIOS%20+%20Driver/rr454/Linux/hpt374-opensource-v2.16-0710.tgz), but I don't seem to be able to locate the Kernel source for compiling.

Would some talented individual either 1) build the driver for i686x86 and send it to me or 2) point me to the Kernel source code?

Thanks

Charles

yum install kernel-devel
good luck
Peter
