What does work is stopping beagled (beagle-shutdown > doesn't work when this happens, I have to kill it), removing the > ~/.beagle directory, then restarting beagled. I thought of doing that, but I'm afraid when it's running like crazy as it is now, maybe it's doing useful work, and if I kill it, all the work so far would be wasted. I did find in ~/.beagle/ a link to something that does not exist: total 0 -rw-r--r-- 1 amadeus amadeus 0 Sep 17 09:52 2006-09-17-09-52-21-Beagle -rw-r--r-- 1 amadeus amadeus 0 Sep 17 09:53 2006-09-17-09-53-34-IndexHelper -rw-r--r-- 1 amadeus amadeus 0 Sep 17 10:03 2006-09-17-10-03-51-Beagle -rw-r--r-- 1 amadeus amadeus 0 Sep 17 10:04 2006-09-17-10-04-59-IndexHelper -rw-r--r-- 1 amadeus amadeus 0 Sep 17 10:08 2006-09-17-10-08-28-Beagle -rw-r--r-- 1 amadeus amadeus 0 Sep 17 10:09 2006-09-17-10-09-36-IndexHelper -rw-r--r-- 1 amadeus amadeus 0 Sep 23 13:23 2006-09-23-13-23-10-Beagle -rw-r--r-- 1 amadeus amadeus 0 Sep 23 13:24 2006-09-23-13-24-29-IndexHelper -rw-r--r-- 1 amadeus amadeus 0 Sep 23 14:38 2006-09-23-14-38-11-Beagle -rw-r--r-- 1 amadeus amadeus 0 Sep 23 14:39 2006-09-23-14-39-16-IndexHelper -rw-r--r-- 1 amadeus amadeus 0 Sep 23 14:39 2006-09-23-14-39-57-Beagle -rw-r--r-- 1 amadeus amadeus 0 Sep 23 19:19 2006-09-23-19-19-51-IndexHelper -rw-r--r-- 1 amadeus amadeus 0 Sep 23 19:19 2006-09-23-19-19-53-IndexHelper -rw-rw-r-- 1 amadeus amadeus 0 Sep 24 08:24 bgl lrwxrwxrwx 1 amadeus amadeus 51 Aug 16 04:03 current-Beagle -> /home/amadeus/.beagle/Log/2006-08-16-04-03-25-Beagle lrwxrwxrwx 1 amadeus amadeus 56 Aug 16 04:04 current-IndexHelper -> /home/amadeus/.beagle/Log/2006-08-16-04-04-30-IndexHelper Could that be the cause? Anyway, as of now it's still running. -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
