However it did not work here

FC5_64
Kernel 2.6.17-1.2187_FC5

$ dbus-daemon --fork --print-pid 8 --print-address 6 --session
Failed to start message bus: Printing message bus address: Bad file descriptor

Any suggestion.  TIA
