OK, then it's not too hot. If it were overheating, you'd see the temperature rise and then the problem.

The board temp. is at about 35 and "remote" is now at 48 degrees centigrade.
But the threshold for alarm is set to 50°C for CPU and 35°C for
board and remote.
Could it be that the system thinks there's real danger and tries to
do some action
to cool the CPU ?

Seems possible, though the voltage alarm at least doesn't do anything here. Try increasing the alarm thresholds.
