MMCONFIG & MCFG (e820)

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

This is my dmesg... On setting `quiet' parameter to the kernel a problem arise
on STDERR, which says (these strings somewhere below):

===
PCI: BIOS Bug: MCFG area at e0000000 is not E820-reserved
PCI: Not using MMCONFIG.
===

What could be the attempts I would try to get rid of this problem. I tried
setting "Direct" in kernel PCI Access Mode - it works well. However I want to
use "any" option, which chooses MMCONFIG first...

Please help if someone is able to...
