You should be able to see the share in your network neighborhood on
Windows.  Think of the guest os as just another computer connected via
ethernet.  If you don't see the share in net neighborhood, ensure than
networking is working correctly, starting with the ability to ping
each machine.  Check for firewall software on either the host or the
guest blocking things.  Google for various howtos.
