I have 2 servers running Opterons that haven't been rebooted since FC5 was released. These are a combination of fresh installs and upgrades and I've seen no trouble out of either type. Based on the fact that the OP had drives dying, it sounds like the drives he had FC5 on weren't good to begin with. Honestly, nothing annoys me more than a post (or phone call, face-to-face, etc) where someone says, 'It's broken' and nothing else.
