For FC4, you'll need to install/configure the legacy yum config once it is published in order to get further security fixes for FC4 packages. Once you do this, yum update will fetch new updates from the Legacy project. Unless mirrors stop providing the FC4 packages, it shouldn't affect yum install. You just won't be getting any packages that have newer versions provided by FL. The Legacy repo is configured for FC5 already and when that FC7T2 is released and FC5 switches over to FL, you'll only need to enable the repo in /etc/yum.repos.d/. - -- Todd OpenPGP -> KeyID: 0xBEAF0CE3 | URL: www.pobox.com/~tmz/pgp ====================================================================== I honor my personality flaws for without them I would have no personality at all. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) iQFDBAEBAgAtBQJE17/dJhhodHRwOi8vd3d3LnBvYm94LmNvbS9+dG16L3BncC90 bXouYXNjAAoJEEMlk4u+rwzjl6wH/3TXUJNeEaIfGLoSOSGt+gE+nqMYhigozjHB rkpCUnJZnmpg8JoBe7p/8vu5Qt5vfcOLhkVgVci8gFOIdhhCeq6ViR3u2DjHLUf0 cAoLgUn8s27yjPdmLnAkrVh34rPmlSJATuX3fEglSdp2zHFa27csfl12vOAC9z06 BCHAzHmrUm82ndfrBBAYz+6DCafxv/4CMYUQCdF+aj5ZymuSCO/NABj0qbWvTvkI zBh3XmscwOXT/KfwG7bTiKVqxsKjzgMEoVxsAPLSKbQuleFu0pvT3ObR3q5+Xhyj 0aVDhhy3GIkNgT1O2lcQuygfljYkZjHHlrgNwqzL8OBcWfk5BSE= =8mjO -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
