If the questions are related to Fedora (such as connecting to
evolution-sharp or linking to libgnome), I can't see a problem. 

For general programming questions which are more generic (platform
agnostic), alt.comp.lang.learn.c-c++ is the place really. For Unix/Linux
specific, comp.unix.programmer is probably the best place.

Personally, I'd ask on the accu-general mailing list
(http://www.accu.org) as there are Linux, Mac, RISC OS and Win32 users
all on there and all are happy to help.
