Thats a copy/paste from the lappies ifconfig output.

Yes.

I'll give it some more exersize later, I just got back from a maintainance 
shift at the tv transmitter & need some winks.

People having trouble with vz bouncing email to me should add the word
'online' between the 'verizon', and the dot which bypasses vz's
stupid bounce rules.  I do use spamassassin too. :-)
