Hi Pithball, Thanks for the info. I am using kernel 2.6.17-1.2157_FC5 from fedora's repository. According to http://fedoranews.org/cms/node/1337 that would be not much older than 2006-07-14. The email you referred to was send on June 29th. Could be it's not yet included in my kernel ... ?! Would be so great if a new kernel fixes my sound problem! Thanks, JeeBee.
