Hi Graham. I'm on FC2 at the moment, and rpm -q fedora-release gives me the 
same (fedora-release-2-4), which doesn't make a lot of sense . If you look 
in /etc/fedora-release , or /etc/redhat-release, you will see a number. for 
FC2 obviously that is a "2" .
