It plays with CD-Player, though, and I'd rather have xmms if possible. I can play it manually in xmms, but that's not the point. I used to achieve this on Mandriva with a desktop icon that started xmms in cd-read mode. IIRC it was you who showed me how to do that. On the box we were just talking about, auto-play is best, but for this one, my main workstation, I'd prefer the xmms icon way. At the moment I go into preferences and add CD to playlist. Anne
